Composer , Arranger , Electric Bass.Son of a professional musician parents, Michael Gold and Nancy Van. Raised in New York City and Miami, Florida. Has performed with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis jr, Red Buttons  ,Ray Charles, The Fifth Dimension, Hal Linden, and Jerry Lewis  to name a few. Currently in several bands and is music director for Smooth Jazz artist , David Wells.

Shane Willis

A 32-year old percussionist from Columbus, shaneOhio that has been playing drums and percussion for 22 years. Shane started playing professionally at age 17,when he quickly dove into all styles of music from Jazz,Funk,R+B,Latin,Rock and Metal. He started touring the jazz festival circuit, playing with such acts as The Afro-Rican Ensemble,Othello Mulleneux,Mimi Fox,Carlos Malta and Humberto Ramirez. He currently is touring with Smooth Jazz trumpeter David Wells along side Bass player/Arranger-Composer Scott Gold. Shane and Scott are producing a high energy Duo project called "HOOK", where they play mostly original compositions and creative groove oriented arrangements using " Hooks" from some of there favorite musicians. They are influenced by the music of Weather Report, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock,Charlie Parker,Pat Metheny and Arturo Sandoval just to name a few.

Jon Eshelman

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, began studying with B-3 organist and pianist Hank Marr at age 15.  Jon began playing organ and piano around Columbus with a wide variety of groups while studying jazz piano at Ohio State University.  After receiving a Bachelor of Music degree in 1999, Jon made his living as a pianist around central Ohio.  In 2002 Jon moved to New Jersey to work on a Masters Degree in jazz piano at Rutgers, studying under pianist Stanley Cowell.  While there, Jon gigged regularly with Ralph Bowen, Sean Jones, and many others.  Jon received his Master of Music degree from Rutgers in 2004.  After five years of teaching and playing gigs in New Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia, Jon returned to Columbus in 2007 where he remains active on the local scene.  In 2008, Jon joined David Wells’ band, and he continues to play concerts and festivals with David throughout the country.
